Many of today’s leading designers had their breakthrough in the Greenhouse, Stockholm Furniture Fair’s jury-assessed hall for independent designers and design schools. Here, talented newcomers get to show their prototypes and meet producers in the furniture industry.

Norway says, Front, Johannes Norlander and BrobergRidderstråle are just some of those who launched their careers at the Greenhouse, which started in 2003. Since then, many young designers have been able to see their products go into production, thanks to the Greenhouse.

Show your talents in the Greenhouse! About 40,000 visitors within furniture and lighting and 1,000 journalists from all over the world are coming to Scandinavias great design event, Stockholm Furniture Fair 4-8 February 2016.

Greenhouse is the special section for selected international design schools and newly-qualified designers – individuals with more creative energy than financial muscle. The aim is to create the opportunity for exciting meetings and fruitful partnerships between the industry of today and the design profiles of tomorrow.

Criteria
Applicants must neither be connected to any given manufacturer nor established within the industry, and products to be exhibited must not have been shown on any previous occasion.

How do you register as a freelance designer?

1. Application form.pdf
2. Photos or sketches of the prototypes or sketches of the prototypes you wish to exhibit as well as brief product information.
3. Sketch of how you are intending presenting your products on your stand.
4. Curriculum Vitae

A renowned jury will select who will be offered a place in the Greenhouse 2016. If you are chosen you pay an application fee of 7.700 SEK, this price includes a complete stand of 9 sqm as well as advertising space and insurance.
