Illinois ASID solicits nominees for design awards

The American Society of Interior Designers – Illinois Chapter is now accepting entries for the 2017 Design Excellence Awards, an annual competition open to ASID-IL members, International Interior Design Association Illinois members and registered interior designers in the state.


The deadline to submit entries for the awards is Friday, July 13.
Entry forms for the competition can be downloaded by visiting the ASID Illinois Web site at http://www.asidillinois.com/. Designers are welcome to submit their entries in more than 22 residential, contract and product design categories, including: singular residential space, kitchen, bath, showcase room, tile design, corporate offices, retail, hospitality, green design, healthcare, universal design, institutional, furnishings, fixtures and more.
A panel of interior design professionals from out of state will review the entries and select category winners on the basis of lighting, scale and proportion, color and composition, design creativity, function, solutions appropriate to the design criteria, materials and patterns.
