CFMA hosting import panel discussion

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — The California Furniture Manufacturers Assn. will host a luncheon and panel here May 30 on how imports are affecting U.S. furniture manufacturers and the global furniture industry.
Joe Carroll, publisher of Furniture/Today, will moderate a panel featuring Romeo Dilla Jr., president and CEO of Admiral Overseas Shipping; Michael Genrich, vice president of sales at AICO; and Mark Popel, president of Creative Elegance.
Carroll will ask the panelists about emerging trends in the import market, how domestic manufacturers can successfully coexist with importers, and the feasibility of adding an import to current lines.
