Yarn supplier Kennetex taps Handy, sets plant expansion

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. –   Kennetex, a supplier of space-dyed and novelty yarns

principally for the upholstery, rug and other industries, has named Doug Handy to the newly created position of vice president of manufacturing and product development.
Handy has been with the company for 19 years, most recently as director of product development.
Kennetex also said it is expanding its plant here by 50%  to 60,000 square feet.
