Furniture Jobs Moving to China

Mississippi will lose 130 manufacturing jobs in the near future.

Davis Furniture, which produces many of its products in Houlka, Mississippi, has announced they will shift their operations to China.
The president of the company says the move will make them more competitive and that it makes sense because they already import many of their materials from China.
The Houlka location will still employ 20 people and serve as a distribution center.
