David Miller joins trading company Li & Fung

HONG KONG — Li & Fung, a Hong Kong-based export trading


company, has hired industry veteran David Miller as regional engineering manager for its furniture division.
Miller was a regional manager for Bernhardt Asia from 2000 to 2016. Previously, he worked for Universal and Burlington Inds.
At Li & Fung, he will manage seven furniture engineering teams operating in the Chinese cities of Shanghai, Shenzhen and Qingdao, and in Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand. The teams are involved in the production of case goods, occasional, upholstery, outdoor and juvenile furniture.
Miller reports to Julian Manting, vice president in charge of the furniture division.
Li & Fung’s furniture division mostly works with large U.S. furniture retailers and specialty stores in merchandising, design, product development, communications, logistics and order placement.
