Mc Daniel's to Give Away $500 in Furniture at Bridal Show

DU QUOIN – While your husband, brother or fiance are sitting at home watching the Super Bowl on

Sunday, you could be at the 14th annual “Through the Eyes of a Bride” show bringing home a new sofa, loveseat or lounger for next year’s Super Bowl from Mc Daniel’s Furniture. The historic home furnishings store has locations in Pinckneyville, Du Quoin and Nashville.
Mc Daniel’s is a major sponsor of the “Through the Eyes of a Bride” show Sunday at the American Legion Center (doors open at noon). They are providing a $500 Grand Prize gift certificate to the winner of a drawing to be held at the close of the show. You must be present to win.
It is the largest of dozens of door prizes that will be given away.
For over 50 years Mc Daniel’s has been bringing Southern Illinois the nation’s leading home furnishing names to our area. High quality and affordability are the hallmarks of the Mc Daniel family with service after the sale.
Simply writing your name on an entry slip could win you $500 in furniture!
Admission to the show is $1. Doors open at noon and the style show will start at 2 p.m.
The show is a very popular cure for cabin fever for brides and groom-to-be across Southern Illinois, and creates some quality time for mothers and daughters planning for a wedding.
The show will also be anchored by Roger Brand’s Name Brand Creations of Pinckneyville and Du Quoin, “Kelly’s for the Occasion” bridal fashions of Centralia, one of the most respected bridal houses in the area and Tuxedo’s by Moore’s Scrapbooking of Du Quoin.
Southern Illinois’ premier emcee, Mr. Todd Ellis, will host the show. There will be portrait photography displays, accessories, wedding planning, even representatives from the Southern Illinois Wine Trail.
It promises to be a great afternoon that you won’t want to miss. The Du Quoin Evening Call will publish a feature section and wedding planner this week to further promote the event.
